THE UTILITY BOARD OF THE CITY OF KEY WEST,
FLORIDA, herein after called Utility Board,
operator of Keys Energy Services, hereby gives notice to prospective
bidders that sealed proposals will be received by said UTILITY
BOARD, at the Purchasing Department, 1001 James Street, Key
West, Florida 33040, until 1:30 pm.
on 07/11/2008 for:

SPECIFICATIONS FOR ELECTRICAL INSULATING OIL TESTING
The Utility Board has instituted the DemandStar.com system
to provide current information to potential bidders. This system allows you to
receive bid information quickly and at your convenience 24 hours a day, seven
days a week. Specifications may be obtained from their website at (www.demandstar.com)

website or phone: (954) 577-3915. Registered vendors will be notified
automatically of all Request for Proposals.
All Bidders are required to submit:
One (1) original and four (4) copies of each proposal
are to be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked on the outside: "THE
BID OPENING COMMITTEE" 27-08
SPECIFICATIONS FOR ELECTRICAL INSULATING OIL TESTING Mail to: Keys Energy Services,
KEYS Bid #09-07, “The Bid Opening Committee”, 6900 Front
Street Extended, Key West, FL 33040.
***It is the bidder’s responsibility that the proposal is
marked clearly on the outside with the above stated marks, and also make sure
the proposal reaches 1001 James Street before the scheduled bid opening time.
Any bids not in the bid opening committee’s possession at such bid opening
will not be considered.
Failure to submit one (1) original and four
(4) copies of each proposal may result in non-compliance and bid may be
rejected.
Each proposal should be accompanied by a
Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the UTILITY BOARD OF THE CITY OF KEY
WEST in an amount not less than of the amount of the
proposal as security.
Each proposal should constitute an offer to
the UTILITY BOARD, as outlined therein, and should be irrevocable after
the time announced for the opening thereof.
At a meeting of the BID OPENING COMMITTEE
to be held in the Louis Carbonell Board Room at the William Arnold Service
Building, 1001 James Street, Key West, Florida on 07/11/2008
at 1:30 pm. proposals will be opened and publicly read aloud. Any
proposals received after the time announced herewith for the opening will not
be considered.
THE UTILITY BOARD reserves
the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities
and informalities in any or all proposals, and to separately accept
or reject any item, items, bid schedule or bid schedules of the
proposal which the UTILITY BOARD deems to be in the best
interest of the Utility Board.
