Billing Errors
If you think there's a mistake in your bill, please
call (305) 295-1082 or visit our offices right away. We will review your billing
history, as well as inspect the meter for accuracy. Necessary corrections
will be made immediately.
Late payments
Your electric account becomes delinquent when not paid
by the due date, and a 5 percent late fee is assessed. Keys Energy Services
mails delinquent notices one day past the due date. Customers who do not
pay, or do not make arrangements to pay, within two weeks of the original
due date will have their electric service disconnected.
A reconnect charge will be assessed. If you receive
a bill and don't think you'll be able to pay all of it on time, please
call us. We'd be happy to help you make an arrangement for payment. We
can also put you in touch with a network of energy assisting sources.
Call us at (305) 295-1110.
Budget Billing
Customers who want to escape dramatic changes in their
electric bills as the seasons change often opt for our monthly payment
plan called Budget Billing. Instead of billing you every month on actual
usage, we'll bill you a levelized amount. You'll actually pay a rolling
average of the last 12 months. This is most beneficial during the hot
summer months. Click here to
